Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

APEC EWG 04 2022A Project “Data Driven Carbon Neutral Disaster Resilient Cities”

1.    For the "Two half-day online training of trainers (ToT) and "Six-day hybrid multistakeholder dialogue" events, are the target participants urban/provincial planners and key stakeholders of all APEC member-countries in SEA or of North Sulawesi only?

R: The target audience for the Two half-day online training of trainers (“ToT”) is urban/provincial planners and key stakeholders of all APEC member economies. The target audience for the Six-day hybrid multistakeholder dialogue (“MSD”) is focused on urban/provincial planners and key stakeholders of the North Sulawesi Province and its cities and regencies.

2.    We have noted that the PO has a list of possible speakers, experts, and participants for both events. Will the Bidder be expected to facilitate the dissemination of invitations and confirmation of participation of the individuals on this list only or is the Bidder also expected to mobilize the participation of its own network where possible?

R: The Bidder is expected to facilitate in priority dissemination of invitations on the list. In case of dropouts, the Bidder is welcome to mobilize participants of his own network.

3.    We have noted that there might be some differences in the project execution timeline if we are to follow the duration (number of weeks) or the specific due dates as indicated in the "Expected Outputs and Timeline" table and "Proposed Milestone Schedule" table respectively. Which timeline should the Bidder follow?

R: The number of weeks in the “Expected Outputs and Timeline” table are indicative. The concrete dates of the “Proposed Milestone Schedule” are those that the Bidder should follow.

4.    Is there an editable version and character/page limitation of the Schedule 2 - Proposal template?

R: Yes, a Word version of the RFP is posted on the website http://apsec.tju.edu.cn/index.php/En/Xiangmu/lists/id/16.html . In case of divergence with the pdf version published by the APEC Secretariat on its website https://www.apec.org/projects/tenders-and-rfps , the latter shall prevail.
