APEC Funded Project Workshop Successfully Held

On October 12, 2021, the APEC Workshop on Demonstration and Promotion of Energy Resilience tool based on Solar-energy Resilience (EWG 13 2019A), hosted by APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC) was successfully held virtually.

26 official nominees and renowned experts from 10 economies, including Australia; Chile; China; Hong Kong, China; Indonesia; Mexico; Papua New Guinea; Peru; Thailand; and the United States attended the workshop. Cary BLOYD, representative of the Energy Resilience Task Force and Prof. Li Zhu, President of APSEC delivered the opening remarks respectively.

As the second phase of solar powered emergency shelter solutions (SPESS) (EWG 22 2015A), this APEC funded project is committed to solving the key problems faced in the demonstration and promotion of solar emergency shelters on the basis of the first phase of SPESS project, and working with all economies, jointly promote the application of renewable energy in emergency and disaster relief buildings in the Asia Pacific region.
