On Nov.13-14^th 2018, The 5th APEC Blue Economy Forum (OFWG 05 2018S) was successfully held by APEC Marine Sustainable Development Center (AMSDC) under the theme of “Blue Economy Local Practice: Policy and Approach” in Ningbo, China.

In order to promote cross-fora cooperation under APEC framework, Prof. Li Zhu, President of APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC) had been invited as a key guest speaker to present “APEC Sustainable Energy Cooperation to Promote Blue Economy”, that include one of pillar program of APSEC-APEC Cooperative Network of Sustainable Cities (CNSC) and cooperation background between APSEC & Bitung City, Indonesia in Blue Economy area.

There were 14 APEC economies and 3 non-APEC economies Fiji, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh (totally more than 200 participants) attended this forum.
