Abstract: As a carrier of new energy, new technology and new business model, Smart Energy Microgrid (SEM) orients the innovative development of renewable energy and distributed energy, and represents the trend of future energy development. This research analyzes the development mode, key technologies and relevant standards of SEM. The research also probes into relevant incentive policies and business models, explores domestic and international cases, envisions future prospects, and proposes recommendations of promoting SEM. The research outcomes have referable significance on low-carbon energy transition of China and APEC region, and application of clean energy, especially distributed renewable energy.
