APEC Workshop on Sustainable Cities+
Asia-Pacific Energy Sustainable Development Forum
On 11 September, Asia-Pacific Energy Sustainable Development Forum was successfully held in Tianjin University. Project Director of APEC secretariat, secretary of APEC energy working group (EWG), head of the EWG representatives from APEC economies as well as international independent experts attended the forum. Mr. Yuqing Zhang, Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, director of the Division for International Cooperation Yiqiao Zou, deputy director of the Technical Equipment Division Li Huang, the leaders of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of china, Tianjin Development and Reform Commission, Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology commission, Tianjin Construction Management Committee attended meeting. Dozens of well-known domestic enterprises and local government representatives present at the meeting. President of Tianjin University Jiajun Li attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Vice President Yingjin Yuan chaired the meeting, dean of architecture Qi Zhang attended the meeting.
Leaders affirmed fully and evaluated the work of APSEC since September of the year highly. As the sirector of APSEC professor, Julie gave high expectations on the future development of center, she expressed her full support for the next step of the center. During the meeting, representatives of APEC economies, domestic and foreign guests held heated discussions on the work and development of the center, and made positive comments and Suggestions, so that the center can serve the sustainable development of energy in the asia-pacific region better.
