On 15 April 2017，The 2nd APEC Workshop on Sustainable Cities was Held in Singapore. 

The representatives from the Secretariat of the APEC Energy Working Group, IEA, WEC,  APERC, EGNRET, EGCFE, EGEE&C, EGEDA, National Energy Administration, Tianjin University, the National University of Singapore, University of Pennsylvania, the Energy Market Authority, Shenzhen City of Guangdong Province, Yujiapu Financial District of Tianjin, the Australia Capital Territory, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, Singapore Government attended the Workshop.

The workshop was hosted by Yong Sun, researcher of APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC). Mr.Penelope, Progarm Director of APEC Secretariat was invited to attend the meeting and Mr. Jyuung-Shiauu Chern, Lead Shepherd of APEC Energy Working Group; Ms. Xuantong Zhu, representative of the international cooperation division of National Energy Administration, attended the meeting and made opening remarks.

On behalf of APSEC strategic cooperation cities，that former vice mayor of Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, Jie Tang, and representative of the governor of North Sulawesi Province, Indonesia Muhamad Mokoginta made speeches.

On behalf of APSEC partners in Singapore, Mr.Jinlong Ma,Principal Consultant, Energy Advisory, DNV GL and Mr. Lam Khee Poh, Dean of the
School of Design  and Environment
,National
 University  of Singapore made speeches.

As Members of APSEC Advisory Board, Mr. Junfeng Li, Former Director of National Center for Climate Change
 Strategy Research and  International Cooperation and Mr.Jon Sibley, Energy and Waste Policy Director of Australian  Capital Territory (ACT) Government made speeches.

On behalf of APSEC, Mr. Zhexing Yan researcher of APSEC, reported the work plan of the Cooperation Network of Sustainable Cities (CNSC) program.

At last, Ms Ellen Kumaat Rector of Sam  Ratulangi University
and Ms. Li Zhu, president of APSEC signed MOU on cooperation in Bitung, Indonesia. Penelope, Jyuung-Shiauu Chern, Xuantong Zhu, Muhamad Mokoginta witnessed the signing ceremony.
