On September 15-17, 2021, the 7th Asia-Pacific Energy Sustainable Development Forum, which was organized by APEC Sustainable Energy Center (APSEC), was held in the form of online, relying on the Internet platform to break space barriers, spread the concept of energy sustainability and share energy sustainability experience to global research groups and industries.

More than 40 foreign experts from APEC Energy Working Group Secretariat, 13 APEC economies and international organizations such as International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) and Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and more than 100 representatives from domestic large enterprises, high-end think tanks and consulting institutions attended the forum.

Workshop on Energy Transition and Low Carbon Green Development, Workshop on APEC cooperative Network of Sustainable Cities, and the 7th APEC ESCI International Training as parallel sessions were also organized, discussing cooperation of sustainable cities in APEC region and APEC Energy Transition Solutions.
